Wings Over Houston® 2001
October 20-21, 2001

Wings Over Houston 2001 featured a "100 Warbird" flyover, two different AT-6 aerobatic acts (the Aeroshell T-6 aerobatic team and Mary Dilda's solo "Two of Hearts"), an F-86 Sabre aerobatic act, several modern military performance demonstrations, plus many other aerial performances and dozens of static displays.

 The "100 Warbird" flyover
Converging from different directions and using different altitudes, aircraft ranging from the CAF's B-29 'FiFi' to PT-19 trainers met at show center.  The sight cannot be accurately captured on film; even more impressive was the sound. Breathtaking.
