The 2003 West Houston Squadron Open House and Fly-In was held May 17 & 18 at the West Houston Airport.  Our second joint event with the Military Museum of Texas, it was blessed with good weather and a good time was had by all (except for one pilot). And a milestone event - the N3N made its first flights in over a year!  The new cylinder and piston worked like a champ.

Sunday morning before the gates opened, a King Air came in a bit long and a bit hot and ended up in Bear Creek at the end of the runway.  No one was hurt, but ... ouch.
