The 2002 West Houston Squadron Open House and Fly-In was held September 28
and 29 at the West Houston Airport. Hurricane Fay cooperated and hit
Louisiana instead of Texas (sorry about that...) and we ended up with great
weather. A joint event with the Military Museum of Texas, it was very
successful, and thousands of people from the West Houston area visited our new
museum, toured our aircraft and learned a little bit about the CAF.

What would an Open House and Fly-in be without flying?? |

The
Open House was the official "debut" of the Squadron Museum, and
by all accounts it was well received. Many Wednesday nights were
well spent over the past year.... |

 |
| The
Open House also was the first public appearance of the C-60.
Hundreds of people toured the aircraft. |
