You do not need to be a pilot, aircraft mechanic or veteran to join
the CAF. All that is required is interest and enthusiasm for the
missions of the CAF.

Museum
As a CAF Colonel, you are eligible to become a member of a CAF unit, join an aircraft support team and may enjoy the privilege of flying in a CAF aircraft on a space-available basis or as a qualified crew member. Membership in a Wing, Squadron or Detachment is entirely optional, and is not required. Most CAF activities are organized and conducted at the unit level; by joining a unit you will receive the unit newsletter and will be better able to participate in these events. You will also be eligible to serve as crew or ground support for unit aircraft. The West Houston Squadron is a part of the West Texas Wing. To be a member of the Squadron, Wing membership is also required (however, you can join the Wing without joining a Squadron). WTW dues are $30/yr, and WHS dues are $25/yr.
