Wings Over Houston® 2011
Another warm weekend, at the end of a record-breaking hot summer, saw the return of the Canadian Snowbirds to Houston

Open House 2011
April 2-3 - Low clouds and mist made for a slow start both days, but eventually the skies cleared

Wings Over Houston® 2010
Dry and unseasonably warm, we still had a great airshow, headlined by the USAF Thunderbirds!

Open House 2010
April 24-25 - Another Great Open House!

Battleship Texas Flyover, Dec. 5, 2009

Wings Over Houston® 2009
Rain during the preceding weeks made setup a hassle and parking a challenge, but the perfect weather on Saturday and Sunday let the Blue Angels give a great performance!

Open House 2009
Torrential rain Friday and Saturday forced the cancellation of the Saturday event, but Sunday was a great day, with plenty of planes and visitors.

Wings Over Houston® 2009
Still
too busy for pictures!  The USAF Thunderbirds put on a great performance, though.

Open House 2008
Again, too busy for pictures!

Wings Over Houston® 2007
2006 was wet and cold; 2007 was wet and hot!  But the rains abated early, and the Canadian Armed Forces Snowbirds gave the crowd an outstanding show (as usual).

AIRSHO® 2007
Dust and wind, typical West Texas, but a fine airshow.

Open House 2007
Again, too busy for pictures!

Wings Over Houston® 2006
The USAF Thunderbirds returned to Houston on the heels of a cold front, but they don't let a little rain, wind and clouds stop them!

Ellington Field was packed with planes and spectators both days.  A very special "thank you" to those who braved the rain on Saturday and chilly wind on Sunday to come out to the show!

Open House 2006
April 22-23, 2006 - Another Great Open House!

Spitfire, C-47, Helldiver, King Cobra, Hellcat, Lodestar, AT-6's, L-4, J-3 Cubs, three Tora aircraft, T-28's, T-34, JRB, Yak, N3N ...  Props turning all day, perfect weather, and a terrific crowd.

If you were there, we hope you enjoyed it.

If you missed it, make sure you plan to be there next year!

Wings Over Houston® 2005
On the heels of two Gulf Coast hurricanes, Wings Over Houston was held on schedule and hosted the Snowbirds.

Open House 2005
Great weather, a couple of dozen warbirds ... what more could you ask for?

Wings Over Houston® 2004
Featuring the USAF Thunderbirds - photos needed!

Open House 2004
A real fun event - so much fun that I forgot to take pictures!  Photos needed!

Wings Over Houston® 2003
A great airshow, marred by the loss of an aviator and his aircraft.

July 4, 2003

Wings Over Houston® 2002
Essentially a rain-out :( .  No pictures yet (film is still in the disposable camera - the digital camera stayed home where it was dry!)

AIRSHO® 2002
"Barnstormers and Black Sheep".  A jet-powered biplane, acro in a J-3 Cub, and whole bunches of other neat stuff.

Open House - September 28-29, 2002
A two-day event, held in cooperation with the Military Museum of Texas.  A good time was had by all!
